Golden Eye’s Thoughts

hearing the grinding

smelling the pungent juices

one must serve the king

All Eyes on You

thinking you’re alone

try again–a thing’s not missed

soon you’ll hear a hiss

Amuse Me

see that piece of yarn

fetch it human just right now

I don’t have all day

Percy Wonders About Skating Through Life

Perhaps it will work
Percy thought he would skate by
hooves had other thoughts

Would They Know His Sneaks

Sneaking through the barn
Percy wondered if they’d see
he was sliding by

Passing for A Fido

Percy thought he could
simply pass for Fido’s spots
skating out home free

Ten Things of Thankful – October 18

Good Afternoon! It’s that time again for Ten Things of Thankful! Let’s get at it!

1. 2. Fall coolness – it’s awesome to be heading into sweater weather. This is my favorite time of year and while I don’t have to rake leaves (Thankful #2) it’s a great time to get outdoors and take a walk about.

3. 4. 5. Good week for writing and I was able to get something written every day. Especially I am thankful (#4) for Six Sentence Story and (5) I Write Her. Here’s what happened on those two: Six Sentence Story IWriteHer

6. Halloween month – I just like it – carry on

7. As this month has a special day for infant loss awareness I rewrote a poem that I wrote about my own experience. I am grateful for being able to write this poem with the assurance of hope. Here is  Forever My Sweet Soul and it is a Friend link from Medium so you won’t get a pop up about having to be a member to read. It will eventually get on my blog.

8. Blood Work was AWESOME!!

Points of View

can only shadows
speak to the darkness or can
they address the light
on the edges of shadows
are the silver-toned grayness

slivers of light tones
slivers of dark tones in sync
as shades come forth
perspective gives new meaning
perhaps a new twisted thought

possibilities
open up new ideas
giving all of us a way
to newly seek more answers
paradoxical or not

given these posings
would it be more meaningful
to study viewpoints
with a more opened up mind
giving chance to the unheard

focus is required
to examine all the facts
as it stands for now
perfectly spinning a top
requires energy less friction
