It’s time again for Ten Things of Thankful or TTOT! Can you believe we are 10 days into 2020? If you have made resolutions, I hope it has gone well. Or, maybe goals are more your thing. I continue to work on my health as my #1 goal. Without further delay, let’s rock into the post.
1.
Internet – As the internet has been out much of the day, I am grateful for the internet and for the outage. Yes, that’s right! The outage forced me to clean up some files on my computer and now my writing files are much more tidy. I also found some poetry which is unpublished and organized those so I could start working on another project. Of course, no internet also means I can still write, just not online, so this may be delayed, but it will happen sooner or later. Did you miss me, yet?
2.
Tax Help – the IRS has made it possible for people in the gig economy to get help on the IRS website. Check it out:Gig Economy Tax Center
3.
Raleigh NC Bloggers – I attend a local blogging group and we had a large attendance last Saturday. It’s great to connect in person and discuss blogging tips. This is a fun group and I always have a few laughs.
4.
Safety – Given the chain of events internationally this past week, it had us all on our toes, but it looks like we can breathe. Grateful we have troops to make peace a priority.
5.
Physical Therapy – It’s helping to get help for my neck and back. Progress is being made and I have had 2 better days, thus far this week.
6.
Writing Friends – My friend came over today to write with me. While we did not have the internet, we were able to get things done. And we got to bounce ideas off each other. I love when I can get together with other writers. And we had lunch at my place. So, writing and food, how can you go wrong?
7.
News from Close Friends – My close friends in another state recently purchased and moved into a house. I am very excited for them to be able to settle down in their beautiful digs.
8.
Health – I continue to battle the bulge, but I believe I am back on the right track. The first months of the year are my toughest and I am doing my best to focus on positive outcomes.
9.
Daughter is coming to visit this weekend YAY!
10.
This last one is for you. What are you thankfuls? Would you like to share a post? Just go to the link and join in. It doesn’t have to be 10 things, that’s just a number. It can be one and be AOK.
Have a great week and remember that there’s always something to be thankful for.
I love this post, the planner, writing (although I lack time) . . . how exciting. I do goals and I was successful last year. Here’s to a year of reaching our goals (or resolutions).

We had some internet problems here yesterday too. Never did know what caused the down time. It is interesting what we do when there is no internet. There is so much other stuff to get done.
I am glad the physical therapy is helping your neck. I have been struggling with neck pain off and on the past several weeks and have been waiting for it to settle down.
A huge yes to #4!

I’ve unplugged on purpose many times and a lot lately. It’s healthy. I pray you find neck relief soon.

totally agree with the priority on getting/being/staying as healthy as possible… everything else surely, if not dependent on good healthy, is a reflection on it. The state of our minds is enhanced (or not) by the state of our bodies… healthwise (not like I’m going to go to health club or go on 2 mile walks everyday… lol)
Have a good week.

Health is a good priority. When my grandchildren were here, I realized that caring for them utilized muscles that I don’t normally use so often! (I did a WHOLE LOT more squats than normal!) lol

Funny how those old muscles get found.
