Seasons – An Acrostic

Photo by Karolina Grabowska on Pexels.com

Spices set out as a recipe is planned

Extra helpings just in case the taste has waned

Asking closest relatives for their seasoning secrets

Selecting just the right amount so the pot is not spoiled

Offering to share the results of seasoned foods

Nothing is much better than the loving care that goes into cooking

…..

This is my contribution to the Six Sentence Story responding to the prompt “Season”

It is so hard to believe that this is the last post for June! Where did this month fly to? Let’s check out this weeks thankfuls:

  1. It is now MaJun as the months are still sorting out where they stand. We are enjoying the pleasant temps and just enough sun to still brighten our days.
  2. I am happy to announce publication of Sita Gaia’s “Knocking on the Body’s Door
  3. I am happy to announce that little Raena June was born on June 23 to my niece Kayla. They are both doing fine and get to go home today and the two big brothers will get to meet their sister.
  4. Daughter has had some troubles with sciatica and I tried another pain treatment method which helped her sleep better.
  5. Daughter has someone to take her to get her paint supplies for her art class in July. She is very excited about the class.
  6. There are plenty of things to do so I don’t get bored and lazy. HAHA
  7. Silvia, our Civic gets us where we need to go and even when the plastic under the oil plug ripped to shreds, she just shrugged it off and is now smoothly purring.

Sita Gaia’s “Knocking on the Body’s Door” is Published!

Art Work created by Graphic Designer Johanna Bartels

I am pleased to announce that Sita Gaia’s Debut Chapbook has been released for publication.

You can learn more about Sita Gaia by going to Prolific Pulse.com There are also links for making a purchase.

We are excited to announce the Book Launch virtual event for this Saturday. We hope you are able to attend.

It has been a pleasure to work with Sita for the publication of her fine works of poetry. Her poetry was curated from a selection of poems which speak to the challenges of epilepsy and the seizures which accompany epilepsy. Sita uses witty humor to get past the trials and has an disposition which truly is amazing. See for yourself. Attend the launch. Meet this poet. You will be glad you did.
