Sinners Dance
Sinners danced over fires of joy
Let the soles of their feet rise
They feel warmth, not disdain
Today is life – love – laughter
Coolness takes the soles into rise
Icy veins find no joy in life

Ten Things of Thankful-August 20 2022
Happy TTOT Time! Let’s do this…
- Rain
- Flowers
- Food – the fruit is especially perky
- Expression – there was yet another funeral of a slain officer yesterday – this huge flag was over the main road where the procession would travel. I like that that was there. I did not like the reason. They think they have the suspects. I hope so.
- Time with my god-daughter at the coffee shop. A nice visit and I had chocolate coffee. Majoy yum.
- Things to come that I get excited about – launches, calls for submissions, etc
- People who take the time to help me sort out important decisions. I enjoy this aspect of peopleing.
- Books – plenty to read as stormy weather is predicted all week.
- Finishing up an important project.

A Space Above My Head
a space above my head
dragonfly hovers over my head
keeps a distance of closeness in space
my wonder is what he might be thinking
perhaps a desire to buss my cheek
or weave a nest from my whispy hair
he in his place and I in mine, we keep perfect time
