Sinners danced over fires of joy
Let the soles of their feet rise
They feel warmth, not disdain
Today is life – love – laughter
Coolness takes the soles into rise
Icy veins find no joy in life
This is my 6 line poem in response to Girlie on the Edge’s Six Sentence Story prompt word “Sin.”

If I understood, the fiery joy of sin leads to no joy in life.
(would love to be able to do such simple yet engaging word-painting (aka pomes))
“Icy veins find no joy in life”
No truer words, Lisa. Joy comes through passion and engagement. If that be sinning, then a whole bunch of us will be burning in you know where!
