May 1 – May Day Memories
Some of us, closer to maybe my age, may remember the May Pole in the playground. It was this pole with extensions that you hung onto and ran in a circle as fast as you could before lifting your feet. Then there was the tradition of gathering wildflowers for a May Day Bouquet. Oh, those were the days. But…we have every day we can celebrate. I bring you my first four line poem for May. Enjoy!

I was at the TAF conference yesterday and life’s demands had me pulled away on the other days. I went for a nice walk at Duke Gardens today and feel ready to catch up. While at the conference, I became inspired to write a couple of poems, so I will include these in my catch up.
