Happy April and Yes, Tax Season! Looks like this artist has their 2021 records ready to report! I can be thankful #1 and say that YAY!! My taxes are files and YAY, I didn’t owe any taxes. That’s a Two-Fer, So I will go straight to #3 of gratitudes and that is that is the cause to celebrate that spring is making itself known. While the showers are plentiful, those veggies will be even better once harvest time comes. #4 is that I have one more book launch in the books (see what I did there)…it was a wonderful time with lotsa love in the room. #5 Grateful for a partner who supports me in my creative ways. #6 thankful for my nieces who look out for each other. Just last night, my niece flew out to help her sister whose hubby is stationed away, so that Spring break is manageable for her younger sister. #7 thankful for daughter to venture out to walking without her walker. She has a knee injection which has helped her, as well. #8 Thankful that tax season only has 16 more days and I will be thankful when those 16 days are past (no apologies), #9 thankful for freedoms. #10 YOU This bunny must not have eaten his carrots!

Good Morning and Happy TTOT! Sorry I missed last week. I have been doing these on Saturdays and I was not on my computer last Saturday so I missed everything. And while I can do some things on my tablet and phone, I did not get that accomplished. What’s weird is that I have not missed a week since I started doing this. Maybe I needed a reboot. So, I will make this a gratitude #1 that I am grateful for reboots. #2 I am grateful for freedoms, #3 I am grateful for the spring like change, #4 I am grateful to have a roof over my head, something that it’s important to be mindful about, #5 choices, #6 answers to help daughter’s health which are showing pozzies, #7 taxes are signed sealed, delivered, #8 thankful for help with #7, #9 opportunities to challenge my skills,

It’s TTOT time and as true as March can be, the lion is alive and well.

Here goes!

1. Roaring in at first place is that despite the current brrry and blowy weather, it’s all indication of a good spring rolling in.
2. At a slightly lesser grr is the onset of a new wave which I am gradually trying to wrap my best judgment around and that is the mask relief at our own choosing. I am grateful there are no grrs when I choose to wear my mask.
3. Warming up, is what’s in the oven and I am grateful I can use my oven.
4. Grating under my feet is the realization that there is still solid ground to stand on.
5. Boots on the ground mean my own feet get to sleep in a bed. Although I would rather not hear about boots on grounds, it is a reality and I am glad I can see that.
6. Gas is still available.
7. Sweaters.
8. Poetry. I was in an open mic and it was so enriching.
9. Saved By the Bell and that daughter likes to watch it.

It’s the last time to do TTOT for February. It may be the shortest month, but it has been full for many of us. Let’s talk about it.

1. Thankful for this day. This is the one we all get. In light of it all, let’s be grateful we have this one.
2. Thankful for people who go the extra mile. If you watch the world in all the rush, there are plenty of chances to see the helpers and to be the helpers.
3. Thankful for opportunities to grow and change. Someone once told me not to count on other people to change, don’t expect it, anyway. Truth is that is true. Count on my own self to change and that is something I try to engage with each day. It’s working and I am growing.
4. Thankful for bread crumbs, to find the way and to nourish each day.
5. Thankful for tender mercies.
6. Thankful for the ability to taste. For about three years I have lost most of my ability to taste and some days it has completely gone. This was pre-covid, so it’s not that. It’s something that happens with some people as they age. Sense of smell and taste can be affected. I have noticed that I am getting some tasty moments and I cherish them.
7. Thankful for the freedom we have.
8. Thankful for the ability to experience compassion.
9. Thankful for the sunshine that comes from the hearts of others.
