
Simon lived a ho-hum life & often told his mother
I’m bored he’d say, without recall, she’d find him something or other
Clean his room, sweep the floors, she’d give him lots of chores
As soon as he was done, he’d bounce on out the door
While he dug the sand & formed great mounds it finally hit his brain
Unless I want to spend all days inside, I’d best not pout mundane

There isn’t a child out there doesn’t regret telling their mother they’re bored. He was bound to figure it out at some point. Better soon than later, lol.
