Welcome to GirlieOnTheEdge and Sunday’s prompt word reveal for Six Sentence Stories!
Why do we do the things we do? Why? Now, let’s ask that question of our characters. What is their motivation? What compels them? Do their actions fully define who they are? Will their actions have an effect on others? And what about our poetry? I believe there are way many more poets who have yet to write a Six Sentence Story poem. Back in the day, writing on pads, I abhorred the idea of letting anyone read my words of poetry. What if they laughed! Thought my words sucked?! Fear. It’s insidious. Let’s not feed the monster.
