Happy Friday and TTOT Day! Let’s jump in!
- Beaches – I have seen so many pics lately of people at the beach and while I was worried about the pandemic, it seems that those who chose to go used just as many precautions as they would if they stayed home. It is not my place to judge, but I can be concerned. Fortunately, nobody seems to be any more at risk by going, again, because they made wise choices. I am grateful for wise choices.
- Patterns for masks. Daughter has been cutting out fabric for masks and I am grateful she can do this. Sewing them to come soon.
- Online opportunities. This week our Triangle Association of Freelancers “TAF” had the monthly meeting online via Zoom. I love getting together with these folks and there is always a special presentation.
- Friday Noon Poets is a group who has been meeting in Chapel Hill, but with Zoom we are meeting on Friday’s. I am grateful for this lovely group.
- Daughter was able to get a day of work this week and will work next week.
- Completion of a special project to be announced.
- A friend got into a new apartment which was much needed. Today is her moving day.
- “5 Day Tales” I have been following. Here is the link in case you want to start reading.
- The pool is opening possibly this weekend. They have good rules.
- YOU! What have you to add for your Thankfuls? Give it a try. You will be glad you did.

Awesome list! I’m so glad people are taking precautions when going to the beach. I’m also hoping for you that the pool will indeed reopen. The poets’ meeting sounds awesome.

We are thankful we were able to go to the beach earlier in the summer. Yes, we took the same precautions there, and did not get too close to others on the beach. It’s not a crowded beach, so all was well.
Happy Thankful Day!

As long as distance can be maintained between families, it seems that the outdoors is a fairly safe place to be. Glad it worked out for the beach-goers you know.
Zoom made my list this week, too. It’s so nice to be able to connect virtually when in-person is not an option.

Even from the inside of a car as I drive along the roads that follow the coastline, I never tire of being near, if not in, the ocean.
Have a good week.

I miss the beach. But here’s to those who go being safe! That would be great if your pool opens. Summer doesn’t seem to be summer without beach and/or pools 😀
Seems even more the internet is providing opportunity and connection. I think we all could use some of both.
Have a great week!!

Fantastic list. I’m also thankful for many of the same things – the beach, we live near and have been away too to see different beaches, online opportunities, I was published in “please see me” and am really chuffed, also I get to write every morning with LWS ( london writers Salon) which has kept me motivated these months of lockdown.
