lavender rich dreams
sleeping in solemn peace
flowering deep thoughts
embracing the night as life
takes a pause for true comfort

casting shadows once
in the field of textured blooms
now to rouse senses
knowing not from thoughts but feels
for the ease of mindlessness

lavender flowers
such an ooze of nature’s scent
giving solace here
ever more and for the night
and making days own respite
