Black Poetry Day-Lucille Clifton, Sonia Sanchez & Maya Angelou

Join Garden of Neuro Institute in Celebrating Black Poetry Day!

On this wonderful day, October 17th, the Garden of Neuro Institute is thrilled to celebrate Black Poetry Day! 🎉 Today, we honor the incredible voices of Black poets whose words have shaped and inspired generations.

Start the celebration with a special video tribute to the legendary Lucille Clifton and Sonia Sanchez by Chyrel J Jackson, followed by a powerful dedication to Maya Angelou by Lyris D Wallace of Sisters RocNRhyme. These tributes are a testament to the enduring legacy of these iconic poets.

But there’s more! Throughout the day, we’ll be sharing additional videos celebrating the brilliance of Black poets—don’t miss out on these inspiring tributes.

Let’s celebrate together! Share your favorite Black poets or poems in the comments, and let’s continue uplifting these powerful voices!
