How about another “P” word? Yes? Alright! Let’s give a shout out to the Atomic Mage for his suggestion 😀 So. Stepping out. Of our normal environs. Of our daily routines. Intentional or not. It’s about disruption. Can be a positive thing. Can jar us back to the moment if we have the (insert prompt word) to notice. Let’s face it. There are occasions when we need to engage in a little disruption to routine to remind us of the point of now, this day. And if that provides insight, creative drive, energy – seize upon it. In Sunday’s word prompt post of May 2nd, I entertained suggestions for future word prompts. To our delight, 3 writers:  Susan, Chris and Paula, provided 3 excellent words. This week’s word is the 3rd and final suggestion, courtesy of Paula. Taking a cue from the word (no pun intended, lol), let’s consider the concept of “letting go.” Sometimes it’s in our best interest. As writers, this is easier said than done. Yet, the “experts” have shown us when all the words are written, when the story appears complete, it very well may not be. Until we go back and read it yet again. “Oh, that’s just the edit phase“. True statement. Yet, how often returning to a draft do we realize that perhaps a character isn’t needed? Maybe we thought we knew the story but…
