Welcome to GirlieOnTheEdge and Sunday’s prompt word reveal for Six Sentence Stories!
In Sunday’s word prompt post of May 2nd, I entertained suggestions for future word prompts. To our delight, 3 writers:  Susan, Chris and Paula, provided 3 excellent words. This week’s word is the 3rd and final suggestion, courtesy of Paula. Taking a cue from the word (no pun intended, lol), let’s consider the concept of “letting go.” Sometimes it’s in our best interest. As writers, this is easier said than done. Yet, the “experts” have shown us when all the words are written, when the story appears complete, it very well may not be. Until we go back and read it yet again. “Oh, that’s just the edit phase“.
