Love Knots

Her matron of honor worked the bride’s hair into love knots, adorned with ribbons of blue.

Her mother gently rubbed knots from her daughter’s hair to allow her nightly brush.

She tied her shoes in double knots so she could run without tripped strings and skinned knees.

She felt knots in her stomach when she experienced her first kiss, from the equally knotted boy.

Clover was joined in love knots, to create a crown for her pretend wedding at aged six.

All decked out for her first infant show, she cooed as her mother adorned her hair with ribbons of blue.

This is my submission for the Six Sentence Story prompt work KNOT, thank you to Girlie on the Edge for her devotion to hosting this weekly challenge.
