How to Start a Fire

gather kindling-twigs n leaves, paper debris, light a match

find strong branches, trim them down, roast marshmallows, make s’mores

wrapped in grandma’s red plaid blanket, snuggle closer

notice sticky candy lips, take a chance and kiss them gently

flames lap at your feet, kisses sweet enough to eat

this is how a fire is made, starting with a twig to flame

…..

This is my six line poem for the Six Sentence Story challenge
