Purcilla was spotted at a glimpse, purring, hungry
Her crystalized coat, appeared first, her eyes next
Her shelter was spotted on the porch, she was hivering silver in a large planter
Tink-tink-tink on a tuna tin, Henry got her attention
He placed the can on the porch, near the door
She cautiously approached, devoured and purred
…..
this is my six lined poem for this week’s six sentence story, following the prompt word “shelter.”
There are so many strays and not enough Henrys.

If you want to catch a kitty’s attention: whisper, and bring the tuna!

I love how you write about what part of her appeared first (her eyes second) – that is such a vivid line!
