Poet Talk with Annette Tarpley

Adele Evershed on "Red Threads and Silver Linings: A Woman's Life in Haiku" | Author Interview – Prolific Pulse Press Podcast

What does it mean to live in a woman's body? Poet Adele Evershed joins Prolific Pulse Press to talk about her new haiku collection, "Red Threads and Silver Linings: A Woman's Life in Haiku, One Bloody Drop at a Time".The collection traces womanhood through the body's cycles: first periods, love, pregnancy and loss, childbirth, motherhood, menopause and the "reblooming" that comes after. Adele's haiku are tender, raw, funny and unflinchingly honest. In them, blood and blossom, grief and humor sit side by side."Red Threads and Silver Linings is a celebration of the female body in all its complexity. It is bloody, funny, uncomfortable, tender, occasionally heartbreaking, and wonderfully honest."— Munmun Samanta, author of *Yellow Chrysanthemum*📖 Paperback releases October 20, 2026 Pre-Order now this #1 New Release in Haiku and Japanese PoetryOrder your copy:https://www.prolificpulse.com/adeleevershedAmazon: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0HLCJCPK2Barnes & Noble: https://www.barnesandnoble.com/w/red-threads-and-silver-linings-adele-evershed/1151491557?ean=9798952428065Walmart: https://www.walmart.com/ip/21128006674Author page: https://www.prolificpulse.com/adeleevershedAbout Adele Evershed:Adele is a Welsh writer who swapped the Valleys for the American East Coast. 1. I enjoyed the podcast interview with Annette, It’s so interesting to here in detail the thoughts of other poets and how they became poets, and the different subjects they write about, and I listened to the show because of the title of her book, ‘Poetry Potpourri’, because recently I had written a poem called ‘Potpourri’ …. I hope you don’t mind, here’s a link to my poem..
