Happy Friday and TTOT day! So, let’s get started!
- Thankful for clear weather for a quick errand this morning. Ice free windows and when there is ice, I don’t have to clear them. Toasty car is another bonus.
- Finding my way around road blocks and a dead phone, relying on my own skills and a big dose of prayerful focus.
- Technology, #2 helped me realize how nice it is.
- Shoe Day – an excuse to have a little early something.
- Angel Cards are starting up and I have a list! Now, let’s get to making those cards!
- Somebody was happy for something I did for them.
- The opportunities to be of service to one another. These are filling my plate and I am happy for the sweetness I encounter. And the bonus of reaching out for help and getting that help.
- Thinking outside the rules. If you want to do something to help someone else, you sometimes have to advocate for them to other parties and such advocacy worked and I am happy, happy, happy.
- Words and having the opportunity to get them on paper.

totally support your citing technology in #3 a remarkable enhancement of my everyday life in the ‘real’ world is directly attributable to the internet and all the technology it entails.
#8 and #9 (which, somehow, link in my mind)… maybe its that writing (imo) requires a willingness to disregard, if not outright defy any rules that we have been taught

We don’t have a garage, so I have to deal with frosty windows way too often. Of course, they’re only frosty when I’m running late and have to take the time to clear them!
What did we do before gps and phones? I, for one, wandered around lost quite often.
Glad you could successfully advocate for someone. I’m sure it was appreciated.

Yes, I wandered around a lot and sometimes I found interesting roads to travel. One of my things when my mother was living was to take unknown roads, something my dad never liked to do. She and I would be driving from somewhere and she say, “I wonder where that road goes…” That’s all it took!

I like it too when there is no ice on the car windows. (Ditto to what Dyanne said about having no garage.) It isn’t nearly the probably it used to be when I was rushing out to a job. When scheduling appointments in the winter, I schedule them for later in the day hoping that the car and the roads won’t be as icy.
Yeah for you on #2 and finding your way around in those circumstances!

I was blown away by God’s blessing of “highly favored” on Sunday. I may do a whole post about it, but the Reader’s Digest Condensed version is that I went grocery shopping (huge crowd/lines–people shopping just before rushing home to watch football). So I got in line between 2 ladies, and soon the 3 of us were talking like we’d been neighbors forever–SO FUN! Then, as I was packing up my groceries (I have to walk a block, and have a small cart), the lady behind me offered to drive me home–and she had a guy friend with her who agreed, great idea!
I tried to refuse–not used to such gestures, and I had a LOT plus my cart, so how was this NOT going to inconvenience them?? But they wouldn’t take NO for an answer…I was in such shock, knew it was the Lord, and gave in. It was on their way–they don’t live far, as it turns out–and the woman even insisted on carrying some of my bags and huge jugs of water up to my 2nd floor apt. I asked for her name and address so I could send a Christmas card.
They were such fun, nice, generous strangers…I’m still reeling! So, I think that adds up to 10 GRATS!! 🙂 ❤

I loved your list and helping others out when there not expecting it makes me happy as well. As for shoes we can never have to many of them or at least I can’t.
