Ten Things of Thankful – November 6 2020

Happy Friday and TTOT for the first time in November! So, let’s get to it!

Things I am thankful for:

  1. blankets
  2. heated blanket
  3. we have not turned on the heat, yet…thankful for no heat bill days
  4. sense of humor to get through this week (you know what I mean)
  5. keeping a smile when sometimes a frown wants to compete
  6. allowing said frown to have its way before flipping the switch – honoring feelings
  7. recognizing we are all fighting some kind of battle
  8. finished projects and new ones to work on
  9. a moment to breathe
  10. you and the youest of you – come to the table and share your thoughts

  1. The time of year when both the a/c and the heat is off and yet the house stays perfectly comfortable is definitely something to be thankful for!
Yes, everyone has a battle to fight sometime. Being able to do so with humor and a smile (while allowing for the frowny-feelings, too) is a great way to live.
    Have a great week! 🙂

  2. I am all about the heated bed. My heated mattress pad makes the list often! Coupled with an open window and a light, cool breeze and it’s sleeping heaven!

    1. Thank you! I’m very multi temperature through the night. The heated blanket helps but I don’t stay on it too long. I go back and forth. I’d try the weighted blanket but don’t want to spend if it doesn’t help.

  3. totally endorse the Grat List deserving of item #3 the weather up here (in southern New England) has been quite not-awful, this past week.
Hear, hear for those who embrace the power of a sense of humor, it is surely at the top of the qualities of humans.
