Elephants – 6 Sentence Story

My Post (85)

It’s absolutely phenomenal the way
elephants can smell water from miles so far

Imagine having an elephant’s trunk
drawing up water, then into the mouth

There are comforting qualities with the trunk
to caress their babies and teach them to soothe

Powerful, mighty, lifting thousands of pounds
these trunks have abilities to greatly astound

To go under water is not a real issue
as elephants have their own built in snorkel

There’s much more to know about elephants trunks and ways
take some time to be amazed

    * no! wait, not an insult… lol I was referring to one of the paths that lead to my own Six… (I think I mentioned in a reply to another comment), the photo I used with the post stemmed from the story of the four (or six or seven) blind men and the elephant….
    see? Exactly like your Six**
    ** lol… I enjoyed your Six for it’s quality of connecting the exotic to the everyday, it was both engaging and relatable.
